Data security
Control what you save and what you share.
Account identity, access and request counts are stored online. Food photos, family details and conversations are not saved in the usage tables. Deleting device data does not delete your account.
Saved on your device
Your inventory, budget and menus are saved on this device only when you enable saving. Anyone with access to this device may access them; use your device lock. Browser storage is not a secure vault.
When you request an analysis
Food images, descriptions and the details needed for your request are sent to the AI service over HTTPS. FamilyBask does not add these images to a personal photo archive. The service provider processes these requests under its own retention rules. Avoid sending identifying or sensitive information.
Offline access
In the published app, pages you have opened and saved menus can be available without internet. Enable saving in Family & budget to keep your details. New analyses and conversations need internet. Clearing browser data removes saved content.
